How to Build a Fitness Support System

Fall is the perfect time to reevaluate and refresh your goals. Most of us feel a “new year” energy around this time, so harness it. If you’re a parent, you may even have some more time on your hands now that the kids are back in school.

Although creating a new fitness goal often stems from some sort of individual motivation, chances are you’re going to need at least a little help along the way. And don’t worry, SPENGA Fam - we’ve got you!

We recommend building a support system to encourage and motivate you throughout the process. It’s actually pretty easy to do and you might even inspire others to start WERKing on fitness goals of their own.

Speak Up

Telling others about your goals is the first step to getting them on board. How can they help you if they don’t know what you are trying to accomplish? Ask them to respect your decision to go after your goal and not to tempt you with anything that might get you off track.

Join a Group

Working out with others is a great way to keep yourself motivated and to hold yourself accountable. If you skip a session, everyone will know! If you can, find a crew at your studio and work together to achieve your goals.
